Deeply misunderstood and dedicated to his life of brooding solitude, Maxwell Black is hesitant to let Elle McKellan into his home where his hideous secrets hide. But he’s unable to resist the allure of this desperate stranger.
Soon the magnetism between them is undeniable, the temptation unbearable. Elle, reluctant to risk losing her heart to this dark and broken man, struggles against the sexual tension, only to surrender to the combustible heat between them.
When Elle’s life catches up to her and threatens to tear them apart, Maxwell will protect the precious love he’s found by any brutal means necessary.
Black is a sexy, modern spin on the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale and is intended for mature audiences.

Black by Aria Cole is NOW LIVE!
Black is a fairytale story with a Beauty and the Beast feel to it and it was a good story.
Elle and Maxwell are the heroine/hero in the story and even though at times their chemistry was hot, it ended up fizzling. I didn’t think that there was not enough depth for me to get into them.
Im a sucker for a fairytale stories and I just felt that even though there was potential, it fell flat to me. It went fast and it at times felt jumbled.
I am interested to see where this author takes the fairytale side to her stories!
