At the edge of thirty, Clare is feeling restless. Even though she’s gainfully employed and pursuing her passion for photography, she can’t shake the feeling that something’s missing. Then she meets Mica. A perfect subject for her portrait exhibit, Mica is sexy, exciting, and everything Clare desires.

One night with the charismatic stranger is all it takes to leave her craving more. But the intensity Mica brings isn’t confined to the bedroom, and Clare wonders if this summer fling might turn more adventurous than she anticipated—especially as a curious energy starts to simmer between the two of them and Mica’s handsome roommate, Vaughn.

As the three-way tension mounts, Mica makes a sinful proposal. It’s an invitation Clare can’t pass up, and an erotic encounter she’ll never be able to forget. Caught up between two irresistible men, Clare is about to get all the excitement she’s been looking for—and then some.

Miranda’s Review

Downtown Devil is a Sins in the City novel, while this is a series each book is a complete standalone. I can’t get enough of these taboo tales, Cara McKenna has done a fabulous job of merging sweet romance and dirty, taboo erotica. A little warning, this book includes F/M, M/F/M, and M/M/F scenes and won’t be for everyone. If you like them hot enough to burn up your panties, this is the book/series for you.

Clare is a photographer, her goal is to have her own showing at a gallery — when the opportunity arises she has to take it. Mica is drifting through life without much direction. He is an adrenaline junkie and has a way with getting people to do exactly what he wants. He’s beyond comfortable with his sexuality and will do anything to get his best friend, Vaughn, to give into their mutual attraction.

Vaughn, lordy I love him. He’s such a sweetheart and loyal to his friends, even when they probably don’t deserve it. It was interesting watching how he slowly started to own his sexuality. Finding his way to accepting that he enjoyed Mica and all he had to offer…add Clare into the mix and holy hotness Batman. Definitely one of the steamiest books of the year for me.

Four Stars for this emotionally charged romance and Five Drenched Panties for off-the-charts hot smut.
