SHE'S A SMALL-TOWN GIRL WITH BIG DREAMS.

Nine years ago, Neve McKay fled her small Southern town and disapproving family to seek a career in the big city. Now she's finally coming home - and hoping for a fresh start. But the relationship that shattered her world still haunts her. And even among her nearest and dearest, she doesn't feel safe.

CAN THIS BAD BOY BE THE ANSWER TO HER PRAYERS?

Ian Campbell is a pure Scottish muscle - as hard and handsome as they come. But when Neve walks into his bar, his heart melts . . . and he vows to have this gorgeous and somewhat vulnerable woman in his life - for better or for worse. What is Neve's tragic secret? And how can Neve expect Ian to protect her, when doing so could put his own life at risk? The only thing Ian knows for sure is that he will do whatever it takes to keep her out of harm's way - and in his loving arms.

Shay’s Review

Headed for Trouble by Shiloh Walker is centered around the McKay family. Brannon, Moira, and Neve. This is Neve’s story however you’ll see that Brannon and Hannah’s along with Moira and Gideon’s stories intertwine. It doesn’t overshadow Headed for Trouble, but honestly to me it enhances it.

Neve ran away 10 years ago and the family has been split since. What you find out is that it was not intentionally split apart. Neve is home now because she is running away from her past. She needs her family even though they don’t want her. Or so she thought. There is some mystery to this story that keeps you going even though you know who is chasing Neve. She now has back up to help keep her safe, including Ian. I loved how he was with her. Understanding, loyal and protective. Just what you want in a guy.

Everything was on point for me. The story, the characters. Well developed and their vulnerability just made them all the more real to me. I can’t wait for the next one, I need it like yesterday!!
