I am a huge fan of this genre of books and honestly I have put off reading these because it has had mixed reviews from my blogger friends. Some say it is the ultimate hotness and others have said it is so-so. I would have to say that I am right down the middle of the line. The storyline itself is interesting. It has a lot of the same aspects you expect to see in this genre- boy with problems meets girl with more problems and they have a dramatic/problematic relationship.
Brynne is a fairly likeable character. She’s had a rough go of things based on her past, but has found a way to move on with her life. Relationships have been non-existent for her, but she is excelling in school and making strides in her career. Plus, she has a great set of friends. What more could a girl want really? How about a hot as sin, sexy as hell body guard that wants to devour you every single chance he gets? Yeah, one of those please!
Enter Ethan Blackstone. I was worried at first that this was another one of those Fifty Shades want-to-be moments, but Ethan is his own flavor of sexy messed-up-ness. He has a dominant personality and doesn’t take no for an answer especially when it comes to Brynne. You will absolutely swoon over this man and all his over-protective glory.
Naked gets three and a half stars.
