I never thought I’d lose control, but his desire took me right to the edge.

Powerful, ambitious, and devastatingly sexy, Jackson Steele was unlike any other man I’d ever known. He went after what he wanted with his whole mind, body, and soul—and I was the woman in his sights. One touch and I surrendered, one night together and I was undone.

Jackson and I had secrets, dark pieces of our pasts that threatened to swallow us both. We couldn’t outrun our demons, or the people trying to tear us apart. But in our passion we found salvation, and in each other’s arms we found release.

I was scared to trust Jackson fully, to finally let go. Yet no matter the dangers that lay ahead, I knew I was his—and now that we’ve laid claim, there’s no more holding back.

Miranda’s Review

I’ve been waiting for On My Knees from the first minute I finished Say My Name — these have the best cliffhangers ever, or worst depending on how you look at it. J Kenner has done an amazing job of taking her readers back into the world of Stark International without confusing potential new readers that haven’t read Damien and Nikki’s story. I’ve read them all and I enjoyed Damien and Nikki, they are sexy and angsty, but Jackson and Sylvia are my favorites.

On My Knees picks up directly where book one left off, which means it starts with a bang. Within the first pages you’re thrust into the emotional rollercoaster and left reeling. I couldn’t put this book down. I’m openly admitting to binge reading this one because it’s just that good.

“Oh, baby. What you do to me. I want to give you everything you want. See pleasure bloom in your eyes.”

Sylvia is struggling with her past and holding close to secrets that could destroy everything she holds dear. Jackson has his own set of secrets with the potential to destroy the budding relationship he hast with Syl. It’s heartbreaking watching the two of them stumble through. So many obstacles and outside forces determined to break them down.

I’m really rooting for Jackson. I think he is perfect for Sylvia, even when he completely screws up, he is still so over the moon for her. Swoon worthy.

“I love you, Sylvia. I love you, and I will make this right for you.”

You definitely have to read book one prior to picking this one up, but you won’t be disappointed. This series is in my top picks for 2015. On My Knees is a journey into heartache, heartbreak, and the ability to overcome despite it all. Five stars for this must read!
